Running Fox Bluegrass Band

Phil Loranger, banjo: Phil is from Midland, Michigan and has resided in Homer Township near Lockport for several years. He uses the 3-fingered style of banjo playing as developed by Earl Scruggs. Phil works as a Human Resources Manager.

Tom Conway, bass and vocals: Tom is versed in many styles of bass playing. He was born and raised in the Chicago area and he is also an accomplished finger style guitarist. He resides in Forest Park and is employed by the State of Illinois as a Management Specialist.

Joe Wadz, fiddle, mandolin and vocals: Joe is another Chicago native. His highly animated fiddle playing has him in great demand for Celtic and Swing sessions as well as Bluegrass. Joe is an engineer with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation Distinct and he lives in Roselle.

Larry Robinson, guitar and vocals: Larry, like Tom is a "Southsider." He is the founder of the band and has been involved in broadcasting "Strictly Bluegrass" on WDCB, 90.0 FM for over 15 years. Larry is retired from Amoco Oil Research Center. He holds several patents on catalytic converter designs. He lives in Joliet, IL.
